Why three wheels?

A two-wheeler asks you to balance every second you're on it. A trike doesn't. You can stop at a red light, put your hands in your lap, and look around — nothing tips.

That single difference is why riders come back to cycling after a hip replacement, a stroke, or twenty years off the saddle.
